SYTNYK & PARTNERS, Attorneys at Law, advises beneficiaries (the National Bank of Ukraine, the National Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets of Ukraine, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine) in a project funded by the European Union in certain financial sector's priority areas in Ukraine.

The project is implemented by a Consortium led by Hulla&Co Human dynamics KG in partnership with the AFC, Berlin Economics and the IAAG. The EU project is aimed at establishment of a financial services sector in Ukraine that is able to deliver stable, secure and efficient financial markets to provide financial resources to the national economy and support the country’s economic and social development and integration into the global financial environment. It started in March 2015 and will end in March 2018.

In order to achieve the qualitative progress in the development of the Ukrainian financial services sector, the project will help the beneficiaries in filling the crucial gaps in the respective policies, regulations and practices in Ukraine, including the establishment of an investor compensation scheme in stock market, EU-recommended consolidated supervision of banking and non-bank financial institutions and strengthening the capacity of the National Bank of Ukraine in implementation of the measures to establish the necessary preconditions of the future gradual implementation of the free flow of capital.
