SYTNYK & PARTNERS, Attorneys at Law, advised ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG, one of the worldwide leading suppliers of high-grade flat steel, in obtaining a merger clearance from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in connection with (i) acquisition together with Pangang Group Xichang Steel & Vanadium Co. Ltd. and TKAS Auto Steel Company Limited of control over Angang Chongqing High Strength Auto Steel Co. Ltd., (ii) concerted actions in the form of conclusion of Agreement on joint activities between Pangang Group Xichang Steel & Vanadium Co. Ltd., ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG and TKAS Auto Steel Company Limited (Dalian, China), (iii) acquisition by TKAS Auto Steel Company Limited of equity interest in Angang Chongqing High Strength Auto Steel Co. Ltd., that confers upon the purchaser more than 25% of the voting rights in the highest management body of the company.
